- Annual Fall Conference
The Brain Injury Association of Michigan’s Annual Fall Conference is the largest of its kind in the country. It averages over 140 exhibitors and over 1500 attendees each year. This event is held with the purpose of providing state-of-the art information about brain injury treatment and therapies, which will maximize rehabilitation and foster a good quality of life. The conference is designed to benefit therapy providers with their patients, as well as caregivers and brain injury survivors.
- Brain Injury Awareness Month
March is Brain Injury Awareness Month. Throughout this month, BIAMI has various activities, events, initiatives, and special programming across the state. BIAMI is actively working to help de-stigmatize brain injury, empower those who have survived, and promote the breadth and depth of support and rehabilitative care that is available in Michigan.
- Annual Meeting and Spring Fling
BIAMI’s Spring Fling is a chance for survivors to connect with each other for fun activities. They have the option to attend a pizza and karaoke night, a riverboat ride, or just enjoy in the Frankenmuth/Birch Run area. There will be a very brief meeting following lunch on Saturday for survivors to offer input in regards to upcoming events
